We begin this organization in the year 1974 and still in success!!
The Foundation (1974)
Raasi Jewellers began its journey on June 6, 1974, in Pudukottai, founded by Lakshmanan Chettiar. Established as the fifth jewelry shop in the town, Raasi Jewellers quickly became known for its commitment to quality, authenticity, and customer trust, building a loyal base over nearly three decades.
Expansion to Chennai (2003)
In 2003, Lakshmanan Chettiar’s son, Srinivasan Chettiar, expanded the family business to Chennai. Opening a shop in Adambakkam, he aimed to bring the same trusted service and craftsmanship to a larger audience. The response was overwhelmingly positive, inspiring Raasi Jewellers to establish a permanent presence in the city.
Growth and Legacy (2004 - Present)
On Vijayadasami in 2004, Raasi Jewellers opened its own spacious showroom in Adambakkam, solidifying its place in Chennai's jewelry market. Today, Raasi Jewellers continues to flourish, offering hallmarked 916 BIS-certified gold and IGI-certified diamonds, blending tradition with modern elegance while upholding its legacy of quality and trust.
